Invasive Species Hot Spots in the National Wildlife Refuge System
Incorporating input from Fish and Wildlife Service biologists and expert bird scientists, Audubon has identified 10 wildlife refuges that represent invasive species Hot Spots, which represent areas where an invasive species infestation is significant and growing, and where the nation's most valuable bird and wildlife habitat is threatened.
Each refuge has a unique story to tell and provides valuable lessons in how we stop the threat of invasive species before they become a costly problem.
